From day one, our focus has been on quality ingredients and true Southern hospitality. We're especially proud of our local shrimp, delivered straight from the waters outside our windows and prepared with care in timeless Charleston fashion.

In 2025, we began an exciting new chapter under the ownership of Safe Harbor Marinas, who share our deep respect for the traditions and community that define this restaurant. While the ownership has changed, the soul of the Variety Store remains the same — a warm, welcoming place where memories are made over seafood platters and sunrises.
